    Meet Our People: Saul Urrutia

    1. How long have you been with Triton Power?

I have been with Triton Power for 6 months.

    2. Why did you join the company?

I have been involved in the generator industry for over 25 years and due to my knowledge of the industry, Eric Johnston asked me if I knew anyone interested in working at Triton Power.  I have known Americas Generators and Triton Power for over 15 years and knew they were a very solid company with a great productI had been with my employer for over 8 years, and they were making major changes to policies that I felt was detrimental to the company and myselfDue to those circumstances, and knowing Eric Johnston for so long it was an easy decision to join their team.

    3. What’s your favorite part of working for Triton Power?

Working with the knowledgeable staff here has been a pleasure especially all the support team around us that really make everything happen. The quality of the product really makes it easy to sell as well as always having extensive stock.

    4. What is your current position?

    Senior Sales Consultant

    5. What do you like most about the generator industry?

There is a constant need for generators in the US, as well as the rest of the world. Also, being that the generator industry is a service-oriented industry, I have met many people and established long lasting relationships over the past 26 years that makes it easier to sell and to solve problems.

    6. What inspires you to come to work every day?

I like where I work and have a good relationship with my supervisor.

    7. If you could choose anyone as a mentor, who would you choose and why?

I am into being successful and making money, if I would have to pick a mentor it would be Grant Cardone. He is a number 1 sales trainer, speaker, international social media influencer, and a real estate professional.

    8. What advice would you give someone wanting to enter the generator industry?

I would tell them to get in. I used to be in the automotive industry and hated it, but I have been in the generator industry for 26 years and have met fantastic people, traveled all over Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. Also, Generators are a necessary product, so when you have a good one to distribute, it makes it a plus.

    9. What’s one thing you learned — industry-related or not — in the last month?

I learned that having loved ones, whether they are family, friends or pets that need our attention, it is important to find the time to give them the time the deserve and need.
