    Meet Our People: Brettney Zaldivar

    1. How long have you been with Triton Power?

I have been with Triton Power since June 2022.

    2. Why did you join the company?

I joined the company because I saw excellent opportunities for professional growth.

    3. What’s your favorite part of working for Triton Power?

I enjoy working with my manager. Her patience and extensive accounting knowledge motivate me always to give my best effort, and I constantly learn new things from her, making coming to work exciting. Additionally, returning to my roots and engaging in graphic design brings me satisfaction.

    4. What is your current position?

    Marketing & Admin Assistant

    5. What do you like most about the generator industry?

The generator industry has shown me how important reliable power is for everything, especially during emergencies. I now see the value of things I used to overlook and understand how they keep our lives running smoothly and safely.

    6. What inspires you to come to work every day?

Learning new skills motivates me. It is rewarding to see my improvement and growth in a department I never thought I would be in, and receiving positive feedback from others is genuinely encouraging.

    7. If you could choose anyone as a mentor, who would you choose and why?

Achieving new goals and staying motivated requires a supportive community, not just one mentor. For me, that support comes primarily from my husband and mom. My husband’s enthusiasm and unconditional support keep me motivated and reassured, while my mother’s empathy and honest feedback guide me. Their love and encouragement are invaluable, making all the difference in
    my life.

    8. What advice would you give someone wanting to enter the generator industry?

Embrace every opportunity to gain knowledge from those around you. Thus far, I’ve learned that the industry is complex, so be patient and persistent and learn from others.

    9. What’s one thing you learned — industry-related or not — in the last month?

I recently watched an interview of a couple who have chosen to simplify their lives and seek a more meaningful lifestyle. The husband’s words really stood out to me: “You don’t always have to be the best. Just do your best. No one is born with earnest effort. We all have to decide to put in the effort always to try to give our best. You decide if you are going to be successful.”
